Arizona Rainbow Petrified Wood Pendant Necklace

The most beautiful and consequently the most famous of the petrified woods. Arizona Rainbow is just that: a full spectrum of color is left behind by the minerals of iron, manganese, copper and lithium during the petrification process, combined with a high silica content, to leave the wood similar in composition and appearance to agate.
This pendant, measuring 3 by 1 ½ inches, is an example of how perfectly beautiful the stone can be. Suspended by a strand of the same stone cut into ovals, cylinders, and rondelles, it is finished with a sterling silver 'J' hook clasp.
