Crystal Quartz Combination Necklace

Ice flake crystal quartz gemstones are first heated and then quickly cooled to produce internal fractures that look like ice crystals. These internal fractures do not impair the stone, but leave it, still translucent, with striking internal crackle lines that reflect light, sending flashes in every direction.
(It also makes it nearly impossible to photograph on white paper. These photos were taken with minimal lighting, so please be kind and try to 'imagine' how good it must look for me to go to all this trouble.)
Alternating clear and ice flake crystal three-sided beads, separated by small sterling silver beads, make up this necklace. Finished with a sterling 'S' hook and chain.
