Crystallized Sonora Sunset Pendant Necklace

In this new material from Sonora, Mexico, the cuprite (orange-red coloration) will occasionally crystallize to create another color - an almost metallic purple shade with flashes of orange. This, of course, increases it's beauty and it's value. This pendant is such a one. Measuring 2 ¼ by 1 ¾ inches, it is suspended by coin shaped discs of African 'Turquoise', each separated by alternating amethyst and carnelian buttons to pick up the new colors in the focal stone. Finished with a sterling silver 'J' hook clasp.
