Extravagant Mookaite Arrowhead Pendant Necklace
One-Of-A-Kind
This is a replication of an arrowhead, hand knapped by a master craftsman in the Pacific North-West. I have dulled the blades's edges. If you wish to smooth the edges further, then use coarse sand-paper or a whetstone, gently stroking the serrations in the same direction in which they point till they're worn down to your satisfaction.
This is the most unusual coloration I've seen in mookaite, which is one of my most favorite stones and one in which I have a huge inventory that I'll be listing when I can get to it. I must have gone through nearly a hundred strands of 4, 6, and 8mm mookaite stones to find this handful to make a strand from which to suspend the pendant, which, by the way, is known as an End Notch and measures 2 5/8 by 7/8 inches. Garnished with silver mini spacers and finished with sterling cones and a hook clasp.
