Sunstone Deconstructed Necklace
One-Of-A-Kind
There are several stones called 'Sunstone' (a metallic, shiny plagioclase feldspar), but this is my favorite. In the primary strand, irregular nuggets, rounds, wheels and rondelles are strung without spacers since the smaller stones space them all. The second strand is made up of wheels and rondelles and the occasional small nugget. Finished with a sterling silver 'S' hook and chain.
While many of my necklaces are constructed around a pendant, I've decided to make a departure to a deconstructed look of beads with no focal stone, arranged in no particular pattern, with two or more strands that can lay any-which-way or twisted together. This is my second such necklace. Let me know how you like it.
