Turquoise and Jet Heishi Necklace
One-Of-A-Kind
Hand rolled jet heishi is the framework for three fine turquoise stones: the large center stone is 1 ½ by 1 ¼ inches, and 4/5ths of an inch thick; the others are proportionally smaller. Finished with sterling silver curved cones and a hook clasp. (As an aside - jet, like turquoise and silver didn't become part of the Native American ceremonial accouterments until after the arrival of Europeans, but all are now very much a part of their regalia).
